Happy Holidays: Gift Guides 2015

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, which means it’s time to kick off the Happy Holidays posts! First up, this week I have a comprehensive roundup of gifts guides for everyone on your shopping list, curated by yours truly. From your mom who already seems to have everything or that guy friend who is impossible to shop for, I’ve got you covered!

Before we get started, though, here’s my obligatory shameless affiliates plug. You can use these links/codes to save on your Christmas shopping and help me earn a small commission for my own gifting purchases!

All featured items in the gift guides will be indicated with a * and to receive the discount, please use the details above! Here’s my disclaimer on working with brands. I promise I only endorse these companies because I truly love working with them, but please do not feel obligated to use my links if you are uncomfortable with doing so. However, I would love your support if you have the means. Thanks in advance! Now that we have all of that squared away, let’s get to the good stuff!

Gifts for Mom

I find that shopping for my mother is one of the hardest things. She already has everything and everything that she deserves to get I can’t quite afford. Nonetheless, I find the best strategy is to either go as personal you can (as with all gift giving) or get them something they would never get themselves but would use. I chose the later option and this is what I came up with:

  1. Michael Todd Damascus Rose Moisturizer *
  2. Collage Picture Frame * (Fill it with personal pictures too!)
  3. Black Orchid & Amber Jar Candle *
  4. Kate Spade Cedar Street Small Hayden Leather Satchel
  5. John Frieda Salon Shine Compact Dryer
  6. Square End Grain Cutting Board
  7. Tarte Tartelette Palette (A Fall Favorite!)

Gifts for Dad

Novelty items, beer, and bbq: everything dad could ever want right here:

  1. Wüsthof Steak Knife Set
  2. Smoked Salt Set
  3. Hugo Boss Silk Tie
  4. Corkcicle Beer Chiller
  5. World’s Best Farter Print
  6. Tommy Bahama Reversible Pullover
  7. Taisin Machine Ice Sphere Maker

Gifts for your Sister

I curated this set with my own sister in mind. She’s a busy first-year in college & here’s everything I think she’d love to have back in her dorm:

  1. Joco Reusable Glass Coffee Cup
  2. Pink & Blue Two-Tone Aviators *
  3. Soniclear Petite *
  4. Rose String Lights
  5. Pajama Set *
  6. Break The Ice Insulated Tumbler
  7. Glitter Backup Mobile Charger

Gifts for your Brother

My brother is a video game enthusiast and someone who is unwilling to buy mild necessities with his own money. With that in mind, I put together this gift guide:

  1. Basic Beanie- Navy
  2. Gameboy Color Phone Case
  3. Nintendo 8-Bit Illustrated Throw Pillow
  4. Neff Blue Wayfarers
  5. Skullcandy Bluetooth Earbuds
  6. Jack Black Travel Skincare Set
  7. Edison Lamp

Gifts for the Bookworm

This one’s for my bestie and all the other bibliophiles out there:

  1. Banned Books Composition Book
  2. So Many Books, So Little Time Print

  5. Noted Leather Satchel Candle
  6. Go Away, I’m Reading Mug
  7. Typewriter Laptop Decal

Gifts for the Boss Babe

To be honest, I actually put together this guide with my own personal tastes in mind; nonetheless if you have a #Girlboss in your life here’s what to get her:

  1. Hustle & Heart Print
  2. Kate Spade Sunglasses Trinket Tray
  3. Boss Lady Gold Script Mug
  4. Building My Empire Planner
  5. #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso
  6. Bossy Lippie Stix by Colourpop
  7. Hustle Gold Foil Print

Gifts for the Happy Hour Gal Pal

I modeled this one after a friend who I could brunch all day and chit-chat the night away with girl gossip with. We all have that one girlfriend and here’s what to get her:

  1. Camille Wine Glasses (The ones Olivia Pope uses in Scandal)

  4. Coffee Is My Daytime Wine Print
  5. There Is A Chance This Is Wine Coffee Tumbler
  6. Rosé All Day Phone Case
  7. Tony Moly Red Wine Sheet Mask

Gifts for the Guy Friend

Let’s face it, guys are hard to shop for— especially when they’re just friends! I have a few guy friends in my core friend group and here’s what I’d get them:

  1. Hydroflask Water Canteen (From a different Favorites post)
  2. Minimergency Kit for Men
  3. Starwars Portable Phone Charger
  4. Cards Against Humanity
  5. Game of Thrones Risk Game
  6. Mac + Cheese Cookbook
  7. Guy Stuff Toiletry Bag
