Hello beautifuls!

I hope you are having a lovely day. Thank you so much to Megan for giving me the opportunity to once again write a post on her wonderful blog. I’m Rachael an Australian blogger from myvioletdelights.com. My blog mainly focuses on fashion, styling, reporting on the latest trends and affordable pieces for your wardrobe. There is also a dash of beauty advice and DIY projects. I’ve been blogging since way back in 2011, so recently celebrated my 5^th blogging birthday.

I must say I had a lot of fun creating this post. Quite frankly I never do things in half, which resulted in the set for today’s post. To style today’s look I took a little inspiration from Beyoncé and current Summer trends. One of my favourite must have pieces for this Summer is a panama hat. You can never go past a gorgeous contrasting piece like this panama hat. I decided to take this theme of contrast and make it flow through my outfit.

Pearl earrings are always a stunning, yet simple way to make an outfit appear complete. I received this gorgeous pair as a present for my birthday.

Adding a pop of colour like this lip stain from Revlon can be a wonderful way to add a Summer pop of colour to a simple contrasting outfit.

For a twist on a traditional maxi dress I love the different paneled fabric from Bardot. The sheer and lace fabric add extra contrast, texture and interest to the outfit, whilst adding a touch of class.
