Hello and welcome back! Sorry to skip last Wishlist Wednesday, but if you saw my last couple of posts, you’ll hopefully have known that I’ve been traveling. I’m finally back and on a somewhat regular schedule, so here’s your regularly programmed WW! This week I’ve got some of the newest releases for this summer that are hot on the radar, some not even in stores yet! Keep reading to find out what’s new in the beauty world this season!
- Champagne Pop Shimmering Skin Perfector by Becca & Jaclyn Hill– I love Jaclyn Hill and her makeup is always stunning, but especially her highlighter! When I heard that the Queen of Highlighting was collaborating with Becca Cosmetics, who already has an amazing range of highlighters that are raved about, I literally gasped out loud. I can’t wait to get my hands on this! It launches on Sephora.com on July 2 and in stores July 16! {image source: Jaclyn Hill Instagram}
- Mac Prep + Prime Fix+- I’m surprised that more people haven’t been talking about these! I sampled them in stores the other day and they are quite lovely. These are a variation on the already popular Mac Fix+. These are lightly scented and competition for the Smashbox Photofinish Primer Water, a priming and setting water type of product that has recently become trendy. The available scents are Rose, Lavender, Yuzu, Cucumber, Fix+ Prep+Prime Original & Coconut. {image source: maccosmetics.com}
- Lorac Pro Contour Palette– Everyone and their mother already loves the Lorac Pro Palette, but this company has just launched their own version of a contouring palette, a product that has become extremely popular in the past year. I haven’t heard much, except for the hype of the release, but if it is anything like the quality and pigmentation of their eyeshadow palettes, I’m all in! {image source: hellomissniki.com}
- Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks– These haven’t even launched on the Colourpop site yet and I’ve been hearing rave reviews. Colourpop already have done awesome work with their Lippie Stix and I’m hoping that these don’t disappoint either. Rumor also has it that these babies are only going for $6 a pop, only a dollar more than the original Lippie Stix. I also hope that these might be a dupe for the Anastasia Liquid Lipsticks, fingers crossed! {image source: temptalia.com}
- Maybelline Blushed Nudes Palette– This has often been compared to the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, with a similar selection of rose colored neutral eyeshadows. I’m excited to try this out and see if it is in fact a drugstore dupe for one of the most coveted eyeshadow palettes in the beauty community. {image source: Target}
